OUR SKILLING AND LIVELIHOOD IMPACT

SOSHEDO Foundation recognises that access to practical skills, economic opportunities and sustainable livelihoods is essential for building resilient and empowered communities. Many women, young people and vulnerable community members face barriers to employment, entrepreneurship, financial resources and market opportunities. Our skilling and livelihood programmes therefore focus on equipping individuals and community groups with practical knowledge, skills and confidence to improve their economic wellbeing.

PUBLIC HEALTH

SOSHEDO Foundation believes that healthy communities are the foundation for sustainable development. We work with individuals, families, schools, community leaders, health workers, local governments and other partners to improve health through prevention, health education, community mobilisation, screening, early identification, referral and linkage to appropriate health services.
Our approach prioritises vulnerable and underserved populations, including women, children, adolescents and young people, men, older persons and persons with disabilities. We focus on practical, community-based interventions that empower people with knowledge, encourage healthy behaviours and strengthen access to appropriate health services.
